Full system monitoring is provided by a UL listed Call Center, alarms are verified if possible and called in to the appropriate response agency, as well as the client. Trouble indications are reported to Thayer Enterprises and scheduled to be handled by our trained personnel. Environmental issues such as low temperature, water, and carbon monoxide are reported to the client or client's representative for verification.

Thayer Enterprises is now offering radio dialers to replace standard phone line communication with the Central Station. Eliminate service calls due to phone line issues and replace the costs of two phone lines with one dialer. The fee of $60/month includes the dialer fee and communication with the Central Station.

We recommend radio dialers over cellular, as long as your location is within the network. For the sake of clarity, we should emphasize that a cellular dialer, although it communicates by radio frequency, is not a radio dialer. We have our own radio frequency approved by and registered with the FCC, and our radio network is our own proprietary system.

Our monitoring contracts are basic one-year agreements with no special cancellation requirements - there are no minimum multi-year requirements like some of our competitors. Monitoring is provided by Avant Guard, a nationwide company with 2 separate facilities, UL listed for UUFX (complete fire protection) and CPVX (burglary protection). UL listing requirements cover building structure, monitoring equipment, and staffing levels, which must be met at all times. Average response time is 30-40 seconds from the time they receive a signal, they dispatch within 1 minute.
